BreakDown STL Does “Hard Things”

In lieu of Christmas gifts this past year, the BreakDown STL staff decided that if families wanted to purchase a Christmas gift for any of the staff members we would like it to be in the form of a donation to Children’s Hope International. After discussing with the team, our goal was to raise enough money that we would be able to have a fresh water well built in a community that does not have that luxury! Thank you all for your generous gifts! The staff was recently able to raise the balance and then present Children’s Hope International with our donation check. We were informed that the well should be built in about 6 weeks and it will bear the name BreakDown STL on it! Children’s Hope International is a Christian International Adoption Agency. We are extremely blessed to have our BreakDown STL home office located in their building.

BDSTL team reading ‘Do Hard Things’

The BreakDown STL team is currently reading the best seller ‘Do Hard Things’ as a team. Written by Alex and Brett Harris when they were 18 years old, Do Hard Things is the Harris twins’ revolutionary message in its purest and most compelling form, giving readers a tangible glimpse of what is possible for teens who actively resist cultural lies that limit their potential.

Combating the idea of adolescence as a vacation from responsibility, the authors weave together biblical insights, history, and modern examples to redefine the teen years as the launching pad of life and map a clear trajectory for long-term fulfillment and eternal impact.
