As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Chez has extensive experience working with families which continues to reveal the incredible importance of investing in our next generation. He is passionate about equipping parents and teens with the tools and insights needed to be successful and confident in facing the challenges life brings. After learning about BreakDown STL’s mission and seeing one presentation, he was hooked and knew he was supposed to join this incredible movement.
Chez brings 15+ years of leadership and organizational development experience having worked with various non-profits in Executive roles. He earned a Master of Education in Counseling & Bachelor of Science in Psychology and currently counsels in private practice. He is married to Charity and they have three kids. Finally, he loves spending time with family, eating at great restaurants and drinking way too much coffee!
Founder & President
Jenna founded BreakDown STL in 2006, recognizing the call on her life to make a positive impact on the current youth culture. Jenna has 25+ years of experience in working with teens as a high school coach, youth leader, and mentor. Her experience as a professional dancer gave her the opportunity to work on several professional sets, which gave her the artistic background needed to make BreakDown STL a multimedia success.
Jenna is thrilled to combine her gifts, life experiences, and enthusiasm for youth to continue growing BreakDown STL. Her passion is to inspire, grow and encourage young people to strive for excellence as they pursue their goals and to share TRUTH with young people so they are equipped to make healthy life choices that shape their character, integrity and self worth. Jenna is happy to do life with her husband, Terry ("Papa T"), and two children, Johnny and Reagan.
Interim Advancement Manager
Hanna has been on staff with BreakDown STL since 2017. She served as a Program Manager for the first 3 years and has recently transitioned into an Interim Advancement Manager position. Prior to coming on staff, she was a BreakDown STL Leadership Team Member and served on the peer mentor team for 3 years.
After experiencing the impact BreakDown STL had on Hanna’s life, she realized she had to be part of this mission. She loves seeing these students truly step into all they were created to be! Hanna is blessed to be part of such an amazing team and honored to serve her legacy.

Program Manager, North Team
Ariana has had the privilege of having many firsts on BreakDown STL. She was a member of the inaugural North Team, the first North Team Drama Captain, and is the first North Team alumnus to be on staff. Throughout her involvement, Ariana’s heart for the North County and Inner City areas of St. Louis and BreakDown STL’s mission has continued to grow. She is continuously honored to have the opportunity to pour into and champion her legacy in such a unique way.
In her free time, Ariana enjoys hammocking, exploring St. Louis coffee shops, and hanging out with her three brothers!
Human Resources Intern
Kamryn Mennemeyer served as a Peer Mentor on the BreakDown St. Louis Leadership Team for two years in high school. She is so thankful for her time on the team as she grew in confidence and leadership skills. Kamryn is now studying at Columbia College with a major in Human Resources and a minor in Marketing. In her free time she loves meeting new people anywhere she goes. In addition, she has a passion for traveling and exploring the outdoors. Kamryn is thrilled to have the opportunity to come alongside the ministry this summer and assist in expanding their Human Resources department as our Summer 2021 HR intern.
During high school, Lauren served as a Peer Mentor on the BreakDown St. Louis Leadership Team. Her senior year, a passion for raising the next generation of leaders, influencers, and role models laid heavy on her heart. Deciding to follow her passion has been one of the best decisions she's made. Her passion is kindled by the opportunity she has been given to lead the OffStage Program, Peer Mentor team. Her favorite thing about being on staff is the opportunity she has been given to speak life into the students she is leading.
